legit blogging with wordpress?

[ad_1]

Is it a considered a legit blog if it contains “wordpress” in your domain name? i.e. you don’t have a personal domain.

I’m asking because I started blogging a while ago and have only a couple of followers – i don’t think any are genuine ones interested in my work, just those who want me to follow back. I feel like i have this imposter syndrome that i’m not actually a “blogger” or that what i have isn’t actually a blog.

If i keep it up for a few years, what are the chances that i’ll actually get a small but genuinely interested audience?

Any and all opinions/thoughts welcome! Thank you in advance 🙂

If you try to build a brand for yourself, a personal domain will be very useful.

I think it all comes down to content quality. Nowadays you see people with Medium domains with high traffic.
