Hey there! I’m trying to integrate a live chat into a client’s website, but many of them are unfortunately not GDPR-compliant and load Google Fonts from Google servers. If anyone knows about a plugin/service that does allow to use local fonts or knows of other ways to deal with this, I would love to read your comment about it. Thank you!

You can host google font localy, try this https://google-webfonts-helper.herokuapp.com/fonts
Decently coded plugins and themes allow you to unload fonts and such.
commonly with remove_action. Then immediately after you load your own with add_action which will be your local font.
I used to do that with themes so I could work offline, while on the go.
