I’m looking for an event management plug-in. I’ve tried WP Event Manager and it works well enough. The mobile app doesn’t work however and I’d really like to be able to approve submissions from users on the go instead of having to use my laptop all the time.
I submitted a ticket and it seemed like it was deleted. Submitted another, then the first magically reappears and support now answers. A little over a week has passed with no solution but reviewers say they respond quickly, spend 2 hrs via zoom assisting them, and that their support is great.
It seems to be an Indian company. I feel scammed.
Moving on, I checked out Modern Event Calendar and I love the layout, look and features. But I can’t pay as there seems to be a glitch or sumn in their payment page.
I can add items to me cart, but when I click “checkout” or go to cart, it says it’s empty.
They say their plug-in isn’t available in WordPress’ repository bcz they went against community guides (and explained a situation why. It could be bogus 🤷🏽♀️).
I Sent a registration email to my Gmail acct, no email. I refreshed and checked spam multiple times, nada.
Safe to say, I’m no longer interested bcz I feel I’ll be scammed again.
I’ve checked envato market for plug-ins. One says it hasn’t been updated since 2021, but the developers are responding to reviews from 8 days ago, etc…
They haven’t updated the plug in for php8 so I’m not interested.
Help please…
