Does anybody know a Pagebuilder for WordPress which is purely extensible with PHP? I don’t need fancy Live Views, a simple block System would suffice.
Years ago I used the Unyson Framework, it was exactly what I wanted. Adding Custom Modules via PHP, without creating any Node/NPM Projects and React Boilerplates. But they stopped maintaining it long ago.
Siteorigin Pagebuilder is a classic, still maintained, but feel rather old and clunky. And you need the 2nd “Widgets Bundle” Plugin to make it extensible.
Currently I use ACFpro with the Flexible Content Field, but that’s feels wrong and is more of a workaround than an actual solution.
So I was wondering if anyone of you may have further welcomed suggestions.
