Hi, our small business website has a simple order form used by the sales reps to enter customer orders that are called in by phone. There's no payment information submitted, just the account's address, phone, notes, and the items they want to order.
We have a customer list of names and addresses and I'd like to figure out a simple way to populate the order form fields by searching on customer name and/or shipping zip code so that the sales reps don't have to fill this information out every time an order is submitted.
For example, a customer would call in and say they're with Jim's General Store. When our CSR enters the store name, or zip code, the address and phone fields are populated and the CSR can select the items the store needs.
Is there a plugin made to do something like this, or another good way to do it? Our site is built on WordPress and I have some experience modifying simple code but am not a programmer.
