Making a huge WordPress Directory without coding

[ad_1]

Sorry, it’s my first time using Reddit, looking for advise on whether this is doable:

**Setting Up**

I want to create a business directory within a broader WordPress website. It’ll include up to 10,000 pages, each one representing a business. I’m looking to save time and I wondered if a spreadsheet where each row equals one business, could be used for the automatic generation of pages. (Is there a better way of doing this?)

**Editing**

I’m imagining using a page layout template to create those 10,000 listings. Ideally, if I later want to change the layout or add an additional feature to all of those pages, I can simply edit the Master template instead of each of the 10,000 individual pages. (Is something like this feasible?)

I don’t wish to use a Directory theme, as this only makes up a portion of the overall site.

This is a personal project for me, and I don’t have coding skills. I mainly use Elementor and plugins. Can anyone suggest the best approach for accomplishing this? Sorry for the naive question.

  1. Using Gravity Forms together with [GravityView](https://www.gravitykit.com/products/gravityview/) sounds ideal for this sort of project. You can collect listings with Gravity Forms and then build a directory with GravityView (no-code required). If you want to make changes to the directory layout, all you need to do is edit one single View. You can also use [GravityImport](https://www.gravitykit.com/products/gravityimport/) to import directory listings in bulk from a speadsheet!
