So – I went to YouTube and found a great video instructing on how to make an online restaurant shopping cart with WooCommerce including a delivery system, and I thought – wow. Just what I need. I work best when I work along with tutorials, so I open the page on one screen, the tutorial on another, and I get building. It’s easy and fun, and the instructor is engaging, so I’m just working right along – and then they say that the next step is to install WPCafe Pro. I go to the page for a quick look – yep, there’s a warranty – and, the warranty has a link, and I think it’s a mile-long document of legal whatever, and I am making great progress, so I just buy the Plugin and get back to work.
A week later, my client decided he wanted to only sell through GrubHub, and I’m not worried. We’re still in the warranty period, so I’ll just get my money back. I have purchased a few other Plugins, and I explained the situation and they gave me refunds – no problem. WPCafe Pro has no contact email on their website, only a contact form – and I am a bit put off by this, but I submitted the form within the time limit and asked for a refund. A MONTH later, they emailed me my license code and that me for making a purchase. And – yes – I did wait a m month. I had surgery. It is what it is.
And now I realize that I have no proof that I submitted the contact form in a timely manner. Cause – no email, right? I make a complaint with PayPal, get a response, and only then do I realize that they will ONLY give you a refund if it doesn’t work. If you like another product better, if you’re having trouble making it look nice with your theme, if your client decided to go with GrubHub, if you freakin’ DIED – they keep your cash.
And I’m usually careful. I’m usually cautious, but that YouTube video – which I now know is a WPCafe Pro product just walked me right through the door and into a $69 Plugin that I will never use again.
Just – be smarter than me!

Request refund with PayPal.
PayPal pretty much always sides with the buyer at the expense of the merchant.
On a side note, check out this plugin from [barn2](https://barn2.com/wordpress-plugins/woocommerce-restaurant-ordering/)
They make good quality plugins and supper is good too
