Hi all !
I am considering developing a plugin and maybe there is an interest for the community. So I'd like to make it available with a small usage fee. Is there a standard approach to protect a plugin against misuse or piracy ? Yeah It's php so it is easily bypassable but do you any any feedback guys ?

You’ll have so many other things to worry about that there will be no time to consider theft or piracy.
You need a store that manages license keys and subscription payments, a marketing funnel that brings users to your sales website, a system to talk to your users to understand what features they need to keep them renewing, and all your free time will be spent trying to figure out why people aren’t buying or aren’t buying after they use the free version, etc.
