Memorizing the contents of checkout fields

[ad_1]

Hi there @siutek,

Thanks for reaching out.

Why does this happen? Why don’t the first name, last name, phone, email address fields remember the data entered?

From what I understand, this only happens for users who are not logged in.

In that case, WooCommerce uses cookies to store cart data and other non-sensitive information.

However, due to privacy considerations, sensitive information like first name, last name, phone, and email address are not stored in cookies. This is why these fields are not remembering the data entered when you navigate away and then return to the checkout page.

For reference, you can checkout this guide.

I hope this clarifies any confusion
