Meta ID too large

[ad_1]

Good afternoon,

I’ve tried searching here and Google for a few weeks now and I haven’t seen anyone come up with the same issue I’m having so I think I might be on my own but it never hurts to try!

I’m trying to sync my Woocomm site with our point of sale system and the POS devs are blaming the failure to sync images on the “meta\_data -> id” value being too large (beyond a 16 bit integer.)

I’ve gone back in the database and found the date when the meta\_data ->id value jumped from reasonable (in the tens or hundred thousands) to what it is now (8 quinitillion) and it was while the site was hosted with SiteGround. SG moved to using Google cloud at the same time and I think that’s the root cause of the huge number.

So my question is: is there a way to reset the meta\_data->id or restart the site with the id starting at 1? If there is a way to restart at a value that’s above the old “normal” values and below the current “too high” values that would be ideal. Or if you have any other ideas I’m all ears.

I’m not a system admin by any stretch but most things have been pretty easy up to now so I’ve been doing it myself.

Thanks in advance!
