First time posting. I am trying to set up an account to sell products on Instagram / Facebook and have run into an issue. I have a woocommerce website. Below is an email that I received from Meta. It is long so bear with me. Can anyone tell me if they are having the same issue? Any help would be very much appreciated.
“Upon checking, you were onboarded via Woccommerce. Please note that this is an expected behavior since WooCommerce for Instagram & Facebook Shops is no longer available or supported. Users will no longer be able to change checkout methods if they have previously onboarded through WooCommerce.”
“Following Meta’s announcement to discontinue ‘Checkout on another website’ support for US merchants and only allow ‘Checkout on Facebook & Instagram’ within this region, the plugin cannot be utilized by US merchants to create Facebook/Instagram Shops until further notice. Nevertheless, US merchants can continue utilizing the plugin for Facebook Ads to promote the product catalogs across Facebook platforms.”
