Hi @rlasaosa. Thanks for using MetaSlider. When things like this happen, it’s often the result of another plugin that is mistakenly loading code on the MetaSlider screen.
- Do you see any error messages when saving or creating new sliders?
- Does it help to quickly disable other plugins one-by-one?
Hello, I was working normally, changing the subtitle of many slides in many sliders.
Once done in one, in the next, no more than a minute later, the Save option no longer worked.
To test, I decided to create a new slider, I created it and loaded the slides, but when I clicked Save, the result was the same, it did not save the slider.
Meanwhile, I have not updated any plugins.
I just tried the same actions (creating a slider and modifying another one) and the result is the same; does not update.
Hi @rlasaosa. That sounds like a very unusual issue.
I’d recommend more testing. Please post specific answers to these questions:
- Does it help to try a different browser?
- Do you see any error messages when saving or creating new sliders?
- Does it help to quickly disable other plugins one-by-one?
Hello,
I normally work with Firefox. I have tried Google Chrome and the plugin works normally.
I have closed and reopened Firefox, but the problem persists with this browser, while with Google Chrome I have been able to work normally.
I have not received any error messages in any case.
I insist, the problem has appeared from one minute to the next, and in that interval no plugin has been updated.
OK, thanks @rlasaosa. In that case, I think we have isolated the problem. You may want to try testing Firefox – restarting the browser, disabling extensions etc.
Hello,
It’s very strange, since I’ve already restarted Firefox and I don’t have any extensions installed.
I don’t know what else I can try.
Hi @rlasaosa. Honestly, I’m not sure either but this does seem to be an issue with your Firefox browser. I’m glad to hear you can continue updating your MetaSlider using a different browser.
Hello, in the last few days I have updated dozens of sliders without problems with Firefox.
So I think that’s not the problem.
Finally, a question. Is there a way to access the Metaslider database to do data cleaning?
Thank you so much.
Hi @rlasosa. Here are details of where we store data in the database: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/metaslider-database-information/
You’re welcome. Thanks for using MetaSlider.
