Current site is on wix. Im a SEO noobie and been using wix to learn the basics. But I see now with my business the site will need to be built out more. We have 20+ service areas, I want to create a page for each to help us rank.
Now I’m thinking why do this twice, should I just make the change to WP? How is the learning curve for WP?

You can’t move a Wix site directly to another platform, so you’ll need to rebuild it in WordPress and then focus on SEO.
Get off wix first
Rebuild your site on WordPress and then work on your SEO. The sooner you move away from Wix the better.
WordPress has excellent SEO tools like the Yoast plug-in. I would move everything from Wix to WordPress and then let the tools tell you how to improve SEO.
Depends on the seo implementation. Typically seo is considered during the migration process. This allows me to know where the data I’m consuming is going. Like meta or site options etc… if you’re using pre made migration solutions that too still depends.
