I have a standalone WordPress website that needs to become a multisite. I can’t upgrade the existing site because the network setup forces me to use sub-domains. Sub-directories are a requirement ([domain.com/site1]) and [domain.com/site2]), for example).
To test out my options forward, I have set up a dev vanilla 6.2 multisite. Ideally, I would be able to go to the production website and grab a copy of the content, media, etc and clone it on top of the two sites (site1 and site2) in my new multisite.
Is this possible? The production website has all sort of plugins that I’d hate to manually re-install and configure.
