A multisite installation was updated to AIPWPS 5.0.0 and the following issues were found.
1. Clicking on the dashboard “Basic Firewall” switch for all but the main site displays “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” even with SuperAdmin privledges
2. New sites added to a multi site are unable to enable the basic firewall. Existing sites that had the firewall enabled keep it enabled, but individual sites are unable to change the firewall status (see 1. above).
Stand alone site installations I’ve upgraded to 5.0.0 do not exhibit the Basic Firewall switch problem.
Until a fix is incorporated, I can use phpMyAdmin to modify a stored value in a table, or modify a files such as .htaccess but I don’t know where the setting is stored. Can you provide information I how I might override the setting to manually turn on the firewall?
