My email deactivated and now I can’t delete my acount

I’m kind of at a standstill with WordPress right now and need some help if anyone’s able to. I currently am trying to do a sweep of old accounts I had under my school email account and so far everything has been fine when it comes to deactivating/deleting any school related accounts I needed to make for classes.

WordPress, while I do admire their efforts in protecting websites, is a little too good. Since I dropped out of school a few years ago, my email the school generated for me has been deleted and I don’t remember my password for my WordPress so trying to retrieve the account is tricky because I didn’t have a security key and don’t remember any IDs WordPress sends during the creation of my account, I’m unable to gain access into my account to proceed with deactivation.

I was trying to find ways to contact WordPress Support some other way but there’s a paywall that stops me from talking to live chat. I looked around and one way is to go through phpMyAdmin and change it from there but I’m not gonna lie: it looks sketchy for someone whose got 0 experience in technology.

If someone knows anything or is able to confirm if phpMyAdmin is of any substance when it comes to any last restorts, please let me know. Thanks to anyone whose willing to read this long post and listen to my tech challenged question!
