Need Advice on Redirect Type for Coming Soon Page

Hi everyone,

I’ve been learning how to build my first website for my small business, which I’m officially launching soon. I have a quick question regarding redirects. At the beginning of this month, I launched a Coming Soon page (simplicbd.ca/comingsoon). My official site will go live on September 1st (simplicbd.ca).

Currently, I have simplicbd.ca redirecting to simplicbd.ca/comingsoon, and I set it up as a 301 redirect. Now I’m questioning if that’s incorrect and if I should have used a 302 redirect instead. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
