I am using the [event_form] shortcode to display the event submission form to the public. I want them to be able to enter new locations for their events — either physical locations or URLs.
I have set “Use dropdown for locations” = NO, but a dropdown showing existing physical locations is still displayed, and users cannot enter a new location.
How can I get the submission form to accept new locations?
Other settings:
Enable locations = Yes
Require locations for events = No
Location types = Physical and URLs
Enable location attributes = No
Enable location custom fields = No
(I tried changing these last two settings to Yes, but they don’t seem to make a difference.)
