I’m creating a community site for vendors and customers to discuss topics and answer questions in their niche market. I want users to be able to create or edit/delete posts from their account under their username. The problem is that all posts show the admin as the author and neither account is able to edit from the frontend. I’ve tried registering the accounts as author, editor, and contributor to no avail.
I can edit the post from the backend admin account and even change the author to the account that originally posted it, but obviously I can’t do that for every post.
Is there a way to change this in the settings? Or is there a plugin that will allow users to do this from the frontend?
