Hi, I am learning wordpress, using subdomains to test out websites. I am having unacceptable page load times on just about ever page I make. I’m sure it’s related to page/image optimizations I’m ignorant of. Here is an example of the issue.

Thanks.

Have a look at the **Waterfall** tab here: [https://gtmetrix.com/reports/rememberandrew.artpocalypse.com/m4YMhZdT/])
There is a 3 second wait for the server to respond, which is the main issue to explore. Try disabling all plugins and activating the Twenty-Twenty WordPress theme. Clear all caches and test again on GTMetrix. If the server response is still slow, contact your host. If it is much improved, reactivate the plugins/theme one by one, testing each time, until you find the extension that is causing the issue.

– look into [adding a custom favicon])
– ask the host what is needed to use http**s**
