How can we get the custom links in our Elementor header to open in a new window? Specifically, we want the “SensorWorks” & “TrackingForLess” links under the “Company” dropdown to open in new tabs instead of overriding the current one.
We contacted Elementor Support and they told us to create a topic here:
“Upon checking, I was able to see the setup of the site now. So with the wordpress menu widget, it seems that you would not be able to open up the links onto new windows, without using custom code.
Default settings for elementor is that the widgets will only work with redirects, and modifying that would need to be done by augmenting elementor’s basic capabilities.
Now to find more details on what code you can use, I suggest you get in touch with our devs over at github. As they are allowed to provide custom code support in that channel unlike here in tech support.
