NOTE: Cross-posted with r/beaverbuilder because I'm curious as to what other customers who have bought for the first time within 4-6 months think about the new prices, and what they want to do. Cause I feel a little stuck.
I just saw the e-mail regarding the pricing changes for NEW customers. Particularly the line, "If you’re an Existing Customer, nothing will change for your current plan or subscription. 😊"
Am I reading this right? Did I really just pay an extra $10, AND miss out on Beaver themer???
Not that it would be useful, now that I've spent so long customizing Kadence to my liking. The included theme would've been useful 2 months ago, but as a beginner, not something I wanted to pay an extra $100 (next plan up), or a separate $147 down the road for.
I understand pricing changes are a company's prerogative, but those are usually going UP, not down. Also, to throw in the themer, which I could've used more so than multi-site functionality is a little disappointing and more than a little frustrating. But by now I'm well past the 30-day return, unfortunately.
I don't even know what to do anymore, should I still try to message for a refund and maybe re-purchase at lower price? Or just switch to Bricks next year, when I'm due for a renewal next year?
I did consider Bricks when I was researching builders, but it did seem like I would've needed more experience to figure out Bricks. Plus I was waiting to see if they would have another sale/lower price for the lifetime option, like they seemed to have at the start of the year.
