So I’ve had a blog on [wordpress.com]) for a couple years now and I decided to do some “spring” cleaning. I deleted a couple of posts I made and after removing them from trash so that they are gone completely have now realized it has disrupted the navigation and the bottom of the page.
The post previous to the one I deleted now does not display any next post and the post after the deleted one does not display a previous post link at the bottom. How can I fix this ?

FYI these are the automatically generated links, I have not ever put these links in myself and I have not used any plugins either. Any help much appreciated.

Wow, actually managed to fix this myself.
All I did was edit the original publishing dates for the 2 posts that were previous to and after the deleted posts and the next and previous links updated themselves. Well theres a fix if anyone else needs it haha.
