I built my site a year ago, everything worked as expected. I didn’t make any changes and just updated some plugins. Now I’m back trying to add some pages and modify a few things and I’ve noticed that when I edit a page many of the blocks are hidden when in desktop view or only partially visible in desktop view but everything shows up when in mobile view. Tablet view is about the same as the desktop view. When viewing the pages as a guest across many devices, everything seems fine. It is as though the problem is only when editing a page.
This is annoying and makes work slow because if I want to edit in the more convenient desktop view I do not see most blocks and cannot even make changes.
While testing I found that if I edit pages on my Surface tablet in desktop mode, everything works.
What the h*** is going on? I’ve never seen this behavior before. To clarify I am using the “Kadence” theme and blocks on an otherwise mostly stock WordPress site. I have SEO and Firewall, I have tried to disable plugins with no success other than when I disable Kadence the site breaks as expected.
Any ideas what is going on and how to fix?
