I thought this would be the right sub since I use word press with woo commerce. And I apologize if it’s not.
Short version: need easier option at events to manage inventory and analytics
The longer version
How I do it now is I have a receipt book. I write the product code on the line, the amount they purchase and then add tax. Using square I process their card.
At the end of the event,
I start with the first day and add new order put in the first date of the show. (And location and correct tax.) then I start putting in all the inventory. One by one from each one of the receipt. I hit completed and then go onto the next day and repeat the process.
That way my inventory is correct and analytics are all current and up to date.
Let me say it gets crazy busy at these shows. So I don’t have time to add each new customer (as much as I would love to, and I know I can set up a guest account,) and I just can’t have a cash drawer that totals everything up (for inventory purposes.)
I know square I can have it set up to where I can import the current inventory and then export it after the show and re input it into my website. But then my analytics would be off.
Is there such a thing that exists? Right now the old fashion way works for me. But I want to come into the current times.
