Old theme showing despite activating new theme?

Hi,

I just started using WordPress so I apologize in advance.

* I installed a “old theme” (forgot the name) when I first created my wordpress to test it out. Now I want to change the theme to “twenty twenty two”. However, when I changed the theme, the “old theme” is on the live website despite the active theme on wordpress dashboard being “twenty twenty two.”
* I deleted the “old theme” from my themes on my wordpress dashboard, I activated the new theme.
* Doing some googling, I cleared my caches already i think…

How do I get the “twenty twenty two” theme to show?
