(Context)
I am soon engaging into a new job, on which the main focus is plugin development.
Plugins are mostly related to security and monitoring of WP websites: for example plugins that help managing user activity on a WP platform, inform via email or/and or important changes on the website etc.
My role will be or course of a QA Engineer (mostly manual) and I already have 1 yr experience with WordPress and 3 years experience in manual testing , and suport.
(Questions)
1. I would ask you what setup would you choose to test different WP environments ? (Ex: a woocomeece website using this plugin)
2. Different PHP version environments
3. Which test planning platform do you think would fit the best ? (Ex: Teetrail)
4. Which setup would you use to test email, phone and phone notifications ?
5. Any tips, tricks or suggestions of any other tool would be more than appreciated
