Optimize website inside Cpanel

[ad_1]

Hello,

I was inside the Cpanel and i noticed there’s an option called “Optimize website”.

>Compress Content
>
>Apache allows you to compress content before sending it to the visitor’s browser. The types of content to be compressed are specified by MIME type. This feature requires Apache’s mod\_deflate to function correctly.
>
>Disabled
Compress **All** Content
Compress the specified MIME types.

This is what it says, do i need to allow/activate this feature or not?

And if yes, can i use a caching plugin beside it without problem?

  1. First optimize the site through WordPress best practices.

Convert images from JPG to WebP and compress them

Then optimize your CSS and JS files.
