Looking for a plugin that allows user to set up accessibility options.

I’m looking for a free accessibility plugin that allows users to change some of the items displayed on the website such as font size/contrast like the pic below.

I saw this one on this site and it looked kinda cool, but I know nothing about how they work.

Has anyone used one of these? Do I just install them and they work?

  1. For a free option the best is Userway – you can use the plugin or script implementation. Beware though, accessibility overlays are only the basic ADA compliance step, and do not guarantee you won’t get sued and end up paying out a settlement.

  2. It’s much better to just ensure your website is accessible than to use an accessibility overlay. They are widely disliked by both accessibility experts as well as very many disabled users.
