Im creating a few niche topic blogs, im going to be writing about a hobby im passionate about. My hope is to earn a little money from amazon affiliate links after I establish an audience.
Im looking for an out of the box theme thats robust, seo friendly, and I can edit in html.
I tried Astra as it came highly recommended but trying to edit and write in html is so annoying with the blocks system they use. Its impossible to simply paste or write my html in.
Only plugin ill use for sure is yoast.
Any ideas are appreciated!

Astra is good. A lot of people find the old editor easier to use for just straight blogging. To implement that, install the “Classic Editor” plugin – that will allow you to use either HTML or the traditional basic editor. Also install “Classic Widgets” while you’re there.
