  1. Who is your host? Do they have documentation on how to change folder permissions? Do you have server or cPanel access? In theory it’s just a simple permissions change to 755

  2. Check your plugins folder — sometimes if an older or partial/broken version of the plugin is lingering it can’t overwrite.

    Remove or rename then try again
