Hey all. I’m new to WordPress and trying to build a simple site as a learning experience.
The site is a simple one page design with the sole purpose of displaying one historical fact a day based on that day’s date. I have a Google Sheet with a year’s worth of facts with associated dates and sources to pull from but I’m having trouble finding a plug in to do this easily. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also open to being pointed to better solutions. I’m willing to explore other database options or something outside of WordPress all together.

put the data in a mysql table
You should definitely give the wpDataTables plugin a try, it is by far the most powerful plugin of its kind for WordPress.
