I’m having a hard time finding this, because a lot of my attempts render follow buttons to facebook or other social media platforms.
I need a system where people can like/ follow/ subscribe to specified topics from a custom post types.
Think– same functionality as the join button on reddit subs
I have advanced custom fields pro and bricks builder, if theres a way to do this with that.
But i’d also need to record like count, and display liked content on the user profile. Ideally i’d like results to be in a separate table as my post meta and post table are already cluttered enough.
user\_id, post\_id, where post type =\_\_\_\_ at bare minimum. Then i’ll be displaying counts of likes on the given posts.
