Plugin virus

[ad_1]

Out of the blue, numerous changes were made to my website, dozens of style changes, and lots of scattered elements throughout the whole website.

I've managed to find out that it was the plugin (font awesome) that caused these changes, not sure how it works exactly, whether it be malicious plugin itself or someone injecting code through it or sth else.

Now, after removing the plugin, a lot of the changes were fixed, but there still are lots of leftover scattered elements and stylistic changes.

I'm now running a GOTMLS (antimalware) scan.

What should I do to remove these changes made by the plugin, assuming I can't roll back to the previous state of the website?
