Plugins for Building a Staffing Agency Website?

[ad_1]

I’m diving into creating a website for a staffing agency, I’m not sure where to start, so I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences with similar projects.

The idea is to make a hub where job seekers can find opportunities and employers can post openings. I’m thinking of using WordPress because it’s more flexible, is it a good fit from the get-go, or should I explore other cms ?

Here are some features I’m aiming for:

1. Easy job listings and search options.
2. A way for job hunters to upload resumes and keep track of applications.
3. Integration with a directory to showcase businesses offering jobs.
4. Making sure the site will not be a mess when it comes to SEO.
5. Any cool plugins or tools you’d recommend for a staffing agency site?

I’m all ears for any recommendations you have! Thanks!

  1. Lock down the end clients ATS and build or buy a native connection to WordPress. I used to work for a few staffing companies in DC that used Bullhorn for their ATS and was able to use Matador for the custom connection. Then it’s just a matter of creating the structures for your data and forms that fit the schema of the ATS.

I own an agency as well if you would like to speak more about it feel free to message me directly. Good luck and I’m sure you will do great with this project.

  2. Also, remember that your site is being marketed to three different audiences:

    1. Potential Customers
    2. Potential Consultants/Contractors
    3. Potential New Corporate Employees

Be sure to use those points of focus for your subsequent pages. New customers are interested in methodologies. Contractors and employees will be more concerned about the culture of the company.

SEMrush will give you great kw analysis for each demo and you could even split your blog section up into categories for your audiences specifically (Services/Culture/Engagement) to help broaden your SEO campaigns.

  3. I’ve built a few greenhouse api integrations for WordPress. My suggestion would be to build out a custom solution using an existing platform’s api integration options, like greenhouse or one of the many other applicant job tracking api’s.
