Hello,
I’m creating a website for our flight school. We have a page where all the instructor names are listed along with a small thumbnail size photo.
I’m want the user to be able to click on the image or the name of the instructor and a pop-up will appear with their bio.

Popup maker plugin might be a good option.
You can set a class on the image and tie that to a specific popup
