is it possible to add a shortcode inside of the banner?
We are looking to add a shortcode that displays the last date of the month for an expiration date.
So basically, it would look like > Save this month! Discount ends [last-day] [last-day] would always output the last day of the current month.
When I tried adding in a shortcode, it didn’t render it and just displayed the shortcode un-rendered.
We also have a JS file we use on some sites as well that works perfectly, but how the files load for simple banner, I’m unable to “grab” code from the banner.
For another example. If I have “Save this month! Discount ends <span class=”expire-date”></span>
My Javascript file would add in the last day of the month where ever it sees the class of expire-date. But this also is not working with the banner plugin as I believe it’s the timing of how the files are loaded.
Do you have any insights? This might be a good mind thinking question 🙂
