A customer of mine has asked me to translate his website to 10 languages, after I finished designing it… Did not speak about that beforehand – even when asked. Last-minute decision by the board.
I have done that in the past for agencies but I have not ideas on how to price that.
There are 17 web pages, 1 product in WooCommerce and all the basics text in WordPress.
Customers will give me the translations (yay!). I have worked with WPML in the past. But have heard about Weglot.
What plugin do you recommend?
What do you price this (from buying the licence, to setting it up in WP and adding all the languages on all pages) ?
What have you paid for your own website if you had it done for you ?
I do not want to sell myself short but not overcharge them either.

License cost for WPML + setup, install, test (say 1-2 hours * your hourly rate) + (create 17 translated pages * your hourly rate) = total cost you charge the client
WPML is an absolutely amazing plugin, I use it on lots of sites, it’s so good with their auto translate etc.
Everything else is extremely poor and expensive compared to them, save yourself the trouble and pick WPML
