Product Taxonomy Question

Hello, I managed to get a WordPress site up and running while also being able to give a live preview to the small business I'm doing it for thanks to this community.

After getting the basic design and shell of the site going I am finally trying to set up a few pages for the types of products they sell. I'm trying out a few plugins, but are there any highly recommended plugins or methods to create taxonomy / sorting for products on multiple pages for wooCommerce ( that's free ) or does it all need to be one single shop page? example : having a page for books only and then having a page for food only is the current design style in my head. I've watched a few videos on things but none of them have been as helpful as I'd hoped. links to pages I can read through on this are fine too , I can read them over the weekend and try and learn that way as well.

thank you for your time reading this

  1. If you’re only looking to separate items like books or food, you can do this using product categories. For more advanced filtering options, you can use product attributes as well, both of which are built-in features in WooCommerce. If you’d like to create pages where users can filter products, plugins like Search & Filter Pro or FacetWP are excellent options. However, keep in mind that they require a paid license.

There may be some good free plugins available, but I’m not familiar with them as I primarily use Search & Filter Pro.
