Question on showing authors post views.

I run a site in a small niche and have contributors that don't get paid. My site doesn't make enough money to pay itself in most years.

My question is should I run the post views plugin to show them how many views each post is? Some only get like 30 views and I don't want that to discourage anyone because those low numbers naturally do.
