I am to use wordpress.com for college to create a portfolio, for every template I choose, the system will not let me change the names of the links or photographs on the template. It seems that the pages menu is grouped and it looks impossible to even ungroup them.
I would highly rather use wordpress.org but that may not be an option. So far I have more confidence in .org and may ask to use .org for my portfolio.
Is there any possible way of getting rid of the menu links on the original template. If not I don't see how it is possible to get a good website out of wordpress.com. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
