Do you have more than one web node?

Yes, I just noticed, that I had to enable on each one of them by refreshing the UI & enabling it manually is not ideal as well, the web nodes can be killed at any time, do you know of any configuration that can enable it automatically at start up?

It needs to be part of your build/deployment process. We use wp redis enable
