The top bar compresses | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The problem here are these stacking components. The reason for this
problem is that with tabs, accordions, or such stacking components the tables are hidden when the page is loaded. This however means that the browser can not calculate things like column widths for these tables (because hidden elements don’t have a width, so to say).

This results in problems when the Horizontal Scrolling feature is used. As that requires JavaScript code it runs into that problem. So, to fix this, you would have to turn off the “Horizontal Scrolling” checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen (or rather the “Enable visitor features” checkbox, as all other features are already turned off).

To then again make the tables responsive, you could look into using a responsiveness mode that does not use JavaScript, like the “Stack” mode or the “Scroll” mode (this is horizontal scrolling, but without JavaScript) that come with the Responsive Tables premium feature module.

Regards,
Tobias

Hi,

sure, no problem! Good to hear that this helped!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible for normal users like you and me (even though I’m the plugin’s developer, I do not have moderator rights here) to edit posts in this thread, sorry.

Best wishes,
Tobias
