Hello everyone, I am a bit lost on how to go about making this website a reality. I will preface with saying I apologize if this is not the appropriate place but there is a lot of smart people in here and this is all beyond my knowledge so, please forgive me lol
To make it as brief as possible, the website will be dedicated to providing on demand access to videos from roughly 50 different motorsports events throughout the year. Would like to have the videos behind a paywall with an annual, monthly and per event subscription for access. Each event equates to roughly 2 hours of total video so would be delivering 100 hours of video per year spaced out over a 5-month span. As far as bandwidth and consumption, the number is extremely rough estimate but will throw out a number of 1,000 subscribers. Have posted to YouTube for years for free and get thousands of views per event but uncertain of subscriber conversion rate. I want to have other pages on the website as well for news, results, schedules, etc that can be accessed for free. Am I just overthinking this all and it would be as easy as creating the website through WordPress, embedding into a videos page utilizing Vimeo as the video host and then using a plugin such as MemberPress or RestrictContentPro to limit access to videos? And then just building out the other pages for news, results, schedules, etc? I feel like I may be missing something important. I want to make sure I do this right and fully understand the reality of what I am trying to accomplish here.

Can YouTube or Vimeo host videos that are private on their platform (aka can’t be seen or searched) but can still be embedded on your website?
