I’m building a website that will use WC Booking to allow customers to book times for an in-person service.
The complicated part is that the service is in-person at a physical location and the business owner wants the location to be secured by a lock and numerical keypad.
The pin should be unique to the customer and it should only work while their time is booked (activated when their booked time starts, deactivated when their booked time expires).
I’ve done some research on physical access control but I’m not seeing any existing solutions that already integrate with WC or WP.
Before I break open my box of Raspberry Pi parts and code my own solution in Python, I thought I’d reach out to the community and see if somebody else already has a solution.

I doubt there is an existing solution for this. However, this shouldn’t be too complex to implement if you know what you’re doing. If you can setup a webserver on Raspberry Pi, and send a POST request with a “**password**” and “**time**” once a booking is made. You can store this data and apply it to the lock at the right time with the proper margins ..etc.
