setting homepage as Shop not working?

I want my Shop page to be the page that comes up when folks visit my site [hadesembittered.com])

I followed online directions to change the homepage settings under Reading, changed it to Static and chose Shop for the homepage

…but it still does to a default homepage, not sure what I’m doing wrong?
