SG Optimizer’s “Defer Render-blocking JavaScript”

I currently have a site that is using a “carousel” it has been causing a brief layout shift on the site. I have figured out that the “Defer Render-blocking JavaScript” in SiteGround Optimizer is causing the temporary layout shift. This is the code in the backend that I am using for the carousel. This is the code at the frontend after Siteground Optimizer has messed with it. I have confirmed that it is this option by turning off the option and it working with no temporary layout shift and turning it back on causes it to happen. Is there any kind of code I can add to block this option from targeting this section? I see SiteGround Optimizer only has URL options. I do want to keep the option on just not have it target this section.
