Hey all! I’m a college student in charge of running our school newspaper. I’ve started putting a lot of work into revamping our online presence, and one of the major pieces I’ve worked on is our website. We use WordPress, and I’ve been working with my school’s IT department to update the overall theme, little widget options, and behind-the-scenes issues like updates.
As you can probably tell right off the bat, I’m not super tech-savvy. However, I’m trying to find a feature, plan, or plugin that will allow visitors on our website to share our posts to their Instagram Story. I’m not looking for the option that automatically posts new posts to Instagram, but this seems to be the only thing that appears when I research help on this topic.
Does anyone here have any suggestions, advice, or heartbreaking news to share on this topic? Being able to have a feature where visitors can share to Instagram Stories would greatly increase our engagement among students, alumni, and faculty, and I’d really hate to give up on this with all of the work we’re doing to improve the website.
