I am creating a fully customized real-estate agency website, and I want to create a fully customized product layout with a calendar for booking a tour, although I have some experience in customizing themes through HTML/CSS/Javascript and i have created some PHP websites(Not wordpress) I’m still not sure how to approach the task at hand.
On one side, i can create a theme and incorporate all of my functionalities to it with my custom designs.(I have never done this before)
On the other hand, I’m thinking that creating a custom child theme and editing its layout will be more efficient for the client as they will have theme updates and bug free platform, but still I’m not sure how time consuming changing the whole layout will be.
I’m sorry for this noob question but im still new to heavy WordPress development and i would love to see your opinions and learn from your expertise.
