The three things I care about are all things that ManageWP absolutely fails at:
* Useless Buggy Reports – it’s just maddening how they never lifted a finger to fix or improve reports. The layouts, the notes (fuck me) and missing elements in the PDF. Never fixed
* No GA4 Support – If I switch a client (which I have to now) their analytics stops working. Not like it was useful anyway
* Cloning that Leaves you Hanging – I get that I’ll need to do a little find/replace, especially if I have a page builder, but when I can’t get into my cloned site because they didn’t update the wpconfig or htaccess, it’s just unacceptable.
Lastly, they haven’t launched ANYTHING new in years, or fixed any issues. Their support is nice and responsive, but I always picture them turning around and begging the developer to fix things. I say developer because I’m SURE they only have one. What the hell do they work on??
I can’t remember why I left mainwp, but it looks like they’ve been consistently adding in new integrations and extensions. Would love some opinions.
